- FNA samples from skin, subcutaneous tissue, lymph nodes, or viscera
- Body cavity fluids
- Fluid from cystic lesions
- Blood smears
- Urine sediments
- Bone marrow cytology (for evaluation of metastasis)
- CSF samples
CSF samples (and low cellularity BAL/TTW samples) will require a special cytocentrifuge for sample preparation. If this is not available in your practice, it is recommended to send these sample types to the Antech lab for processing rather than submitting digitally.
