Network or scanner disconnected

When the scanner is connected and the network is online, a green dot will appear by the menu in the left corner of the dashboard and when clicked, the status of each will appear green.

When either the scanner is disconnected or the network is offline, a red dot will appear by the menu and the status of one or the other (or both) will appear red.

Check the scanner is turned on both at the power supply and the front panel. In addition, check that the USB connection to the PC.

Advanced

The software should automatically connect to the scanner when it is powered on and connected to the USB. However, if it does not, you can try manually opening the connection.

Open the Settings Screen from the Menu.

Click Diagnostics and then Connect under Scanner Connection.

Network Disconnected

If the network is disconnected, press the Power button at the bottom of the Menu screen and select Restart.

If this does not resolve the network issue, try rebooting the Meraki device. To do this, unplug the power cable from the back.

Wait 30 seconds and plug it back in. Wait for the light on the front of the Meraki device to turn white.
Restart the computer again.
The dot should now be green
