Organization of the GUI
Easy as 1-2-3!
doctorVet eliminates the need to ask "Which protocol should I use for this?"
First, select the type of animal you are treating.
For Wounds and Acupuncture, it doesn’t matter what kind of animal you are treating.
To create your own protocol, choose Custom.
TIP: For multi-colored animals…
- If the treatment area is only one color, select that color.
- If the treatment area is multi-colored, choose “dark”. This will mitigate all risks of over-heating the tissue.
For Musculo-Skeletal conditions, choose the anatomy.
For Wounds, choose the type of wound to be treated.
In either case, this choice will dictate the appropriate Power, Frequency, and Dose of the treatment to follow.
Inflammation and General Pain can be anywhere and cross anatomies. For these you will be guided to choose the size of the area to be treated.
For Musculo-Skeletal conditions, choose the size of the animal.
For Wounds, choose the size of the wound.
In either case, this choice will dictate the appropriate Time and Total Energy to be delivered in the treatment to follow.
In 3 touches of the screen, you have a patient-appropriate protocol with virtually NO ambiguity for your technician.
doctorVet treatments consist of 5 phases, each of which uses a different set of treatment parameters.
Within each treatment, there are different tissue-types present. The effect on each of these can be optimized by using pulse frequencies that are appropriate for those tissues.
doctorVet uses this combination of 5 distinct frequencies to target the entire area most effectively.
But what do you different during each phase?
doctorVet’s most exciting feature walks you through the treatment step-by-step with expert clinical advice tailored for the specific condition you are treating. We call him TOBI, a doctor’s best friend.
TOBI may instruct you to modify your protocol slightly based on the patient’s response to therapy. Rather than “guesstimating” or having to do complex calculations in your head, doctorVet is equipped with:
One Touch Modification
At the onset of any treatment, if you need to increase or decrease the dose description, there is only one button to press, then you’re on your way.
