Annotations

Length​

Length Annotation

This tool allows you to measure the distance between two points on the image.

With this tool selected, press on the image where you would like to start the measurement. Press again where you would like to end the measurement. You can adjust the two points.

Angle​

Angle Annotation

This tool allows you to measure the angle between two line.

With this tool selected, press on the image to place the first point. Press on the image to place the apex of the angle. Finally press on the image to place the final point of the annotation. This will calculate the angle formed by the three points.

ROI - Rectangle​

Rectangle ROI Annotation

This tool will allow you to measure the Area, Mean and Standard Deviation of Pixel Intensity inside a rectangular Region of interest.

With this tool selected, press on the image to set the top left corner of the ROI. Press on the image again to set the bottom right corner of the ROI.

ROI - Circle​

Circle ROI Annotation

This tool will allow you to measure the Area, Mean and Standard Deviation of Pixel Intensity inside an circular Region of Interest.

With this tool selected, press on the image, press on the image to set the top left corner of the rectangle that encloses the Circular ROI. Press on the image again to set the bottom left corner of the rectangle than encloses the Circular ROI.

Arrow​

Arrow Annotation

This tool will allow you to draw an arrow on the image.

With this tool selected, press on the image to place the head of the arrow. Press on the image again to place the tail of the arrow.

Marker - Text​

Text Annotation

This tool will allow you to place Text on the image.

With this tool selected, press on the Image where you want the Text to appear. The Text Dialog will open.

Text Annotation

Enter the Text. Select the font size from the Drop Down menu. Press OK to place the Text. Pressing cancel will close the dialog without placing an annotation.

Delete​

Delete Annotation

Pressing this tool will delete the selected annotation.

Note​

Note Annotation

This tool will allow you to add a note to the image.

With this tools selected, press on the image where you would like the note to appear. The Image Note Dialog will open. Enter a Title and the text of the Note and press OK. Pressing Cancel will discard your changes and close the dialog.

Overlay (Show & Hide)​

Pressing this tool will toggle the visibility of the overlay.

Annotations (Show & Hide)​

Annotation Toggle

Pressing this tools will toggle the visibility of Annotations.

Delete All Annotations​

Delete All Annotations

Pressing this tool will remove all annotations on the image.

Rectangular Shutter​

Rectangular Shutter

This tool will allow you to define a rectangular shutter.

With this tool selected, draw the rectangle on the image. The shutter can be rotated by dragging the point at the middle of the top side.

Polygon Shutter​

Polygon Shutter

In order to create more elaborate shutters, use the Polygon Shutter tool.

With this tool selected, click on the image to begin drawing the Polygon. Click on the image to add a point to the Polygon. When you are finished drawing the shutter, double click the mouse to complete the polygon shutter.

Predefined Text​

Predefined Text

For ease of use, we have provided the option to use predefined Text Annotations.

Select a Predefined Text annotation from the dropdown and it will appear on the image. Move the annotation to the desired location.

The Options can be edited in the settings menu. Accessed from either the Studylist or the Worklist, press the Settings Settings button. Under the General section, select Annotations. Here you can add, edit, and delete options for predefined text annotations.

Free Hand​

Free Hand Annotation

This tool allows you to draw free hand annotations on the image.

With this tool selected, draw the annotation on the image.
