LED Indicators

Vscan Air CL is ON​

To turn ON the Vscan Air CL, press and hold the power button for 1 second.

To turn OFF the Vscan Air CL, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.

LED states when Vscan Air CL is ON

  1. Powering up
  2. Booting
    • A blinking white light switching between Vscan Air CL ends indicates that the Vscan Air CL is ON and booting.
  3. Searching
    • A blinking white light on both LEDs indicates the Vscan Air CL is ON and searching for Vscan Air App.
  4. Display found
    • A steady white light on both LEDs indicates that the Vscan Air CL is ON and a display device with the Vscan Air App is found.
  5. Connected
    • A steady blue light on both LEDs indicates that the Vscan Air CL is ON and connected.
  6. Active array
    • A steady blue light on one Vscan Air CL side indicates which transducer is active and selected. Vscan Air CL is powered ON.
  7. Powering OFF/Occupied
    • A steady purple light on both LEDs indicates the Vscan Air CL is ON, is occupied and shall not be interrupted. E.g. when running test or upgrading software.
  8. Error
    • A steady red light on both LEDs indicates the Vscan Air CL is ON and an error has been detected.

Vscan Air CL is OFF​

A short press (<1 sec) on the power button while the Vscan Air CL probe is off will show the battery charge status via the LED lights.

LED states when Vscan Air CL is OFF

  1. Battery level 8-90%
  2. Fully charged
  • No light indicates a Vscan Air CL charge level in the range <8% and probe will need to charge above 8% to be powered on.
  • A steady yellow light on both LEDs indicates a Vscan Air CL charge level in the range 8-90%.
  • A steady green light on both LEDs indicates a Vscan Air CL charge level in the range 90-100%.

Vscan Air CL is Charging​

The Vscan Air CL probe will be powered off during charging. Please refer to How to Charge Your Device.

LED states when Vscan Air CL is charging

  1. Battery level <8%
  2. Battery level 8-90%
  3. Fully charged
  • A blinking light on both LEDs indicates a Vscan Air CL charging issue.
  • A steady orange/red toned yellow on both LEDs indicates the Vscan Air CL is charging. Charge level is less than 8%, and probe will need to charge above this level to be powered on.
  • A steady yellow light on both LEDs indicates the Vscan Air CL is charging. Charge level in the range 8-90%.
  • A steady green light on both LEDs indicates the Vscan Air CL is charging. Charge level 90-100%.

The Vscan Air CL probe will when removed from the charge pad keep the LED lights light for 5-10 seconds before turning them off, leaving the probe powered OFF.
