Macro Calibration (background correction)

If directed by a pathologist or tech support, macro calibration can be performed by the user. This is necessary when the color quality or background of the slide images is unsatisfactory and is typically detected by the pathologist.

To perform this correction, select Settings from the main menu

Select Calibration

Load the completely blank slide provided in cytology welcome kit.

Select Start Macro Calibration and follow the directions on screen.

This procedure takes only a few seconds. Unload the slide and store when complete.
