Study Registration
In order to acquire images, you must start a study. There are two different modes: manual registration and automatic registration.
When connected to the Worklist server, the Worklist tests information is automatically registered.
To search the studies from worklist server, install the DICOM worklist server and the server settings should be correct.
Register Study in Manual Mode
Click the New Patient button.
Enter the patient information in the New Patient Form. The * indicates that a field is required. When you are finished, press the Capture button to immediately start capturing images for the study. Alternatively, press the Register button to save the study to the worklist. Pressing the Cancel button will discard any changes and close the New Patient Form.
Patient ID
This is a required field. Enter the Patient ID in this field. If the Patient ID already exists, the rest of the patient's Information will automatically populate when you click on another field. Additionally you can press the Tab key to automatically populate the patients information.
Accession No.
Enter the patient's accession number. You can automatically generate an Accession Number by pressing the Generate button.
Patient Name
This is a required field. Enter the patient's name here. You can search for patients by their name here. After you enter the patient's name, press the Search button. Select the correct patient from the results to automatically populate the patient's information.
Owner Name
You can enter the Owner's First and last name in these fields. You can search for patient's by their owners name here. After entering the Owner's name, press the Search button. Select the correct patient from the results to automatically populate the patient's information.
Birthday
This is a required field. Enter the birthday of the patient. This will automatically calculate the Age of the patient.
Age
This field is automatically calculated from the Patient's birthday. To manually enter the age of the patient, enter the age of the patient in years. The Birth year will automatically update to reflect the age.
Sex
Enter the patient's gender.
Neuter / Spay
Select if the Patient is Neutered or Spayed.
The Neuter option is disabled when F VET is selected for Patient Sex.
The Spay option is disabled when M VET is selected for Patient Sex.
Species
Select the patient's Species.
Breed
Select the patient's Breed.
Referring Physician
Enter the physician information
