What's New
With the latest iteration of SmartDR there have been some new features introduced, let's take a moment to go over them briefly. Don't forget to check out the Updates section to learn about what each new update brings to your SmartDR system!
Browser Based Platform
SmartDR now operates out of a Google Chrome browser. This allows you to access it from a huge assortment of devices, including most phones and tablets.
Simply launch Chrome and navigate to x.x.x.x/sd2, where the x's are populated with the IP address of your acquisition PC, and log in to the software.
Multi-User Support
With the newly introduced ability to access SmartDR from so many devices, we've also added the ability for multiple people to use the software at once!
If there's more than one user in a study the Users icon will change. Pressing on the silhouette will expand to show the users currently in the study. The radiation icon indicates the current acquirer.
Acquirer Role
Only one user can be the acquirer. This role has control over the panel and is the only user capable of acquiring images into the software. You can request this role from the active user at the User Activity page in the settings menu, or from the user list.
Panel Calibration Assistant
The new and improved calibration is streamlined and guides you to the correct technique before stepping you through a complete calibration.
Wired to Wireless functionality
Some wired configurations can be disconnected and brought out of their table for more versatile imaging. From tabletop to portable in seconds! Just disconnect or reconnect your detector tether and allow the software a moment to recognize the change.
