Radiation Safety Report

The Radiation Safety Report provides detailed information on radiation exposures for a specified date range.

The report logs each radiation exposure event, categorizing them as either acquisition or calibration events.

The report includes summary statistics for Total Exposures, Average kVp, Average mAs, Average mA, and Rejection Rate.

For each exposure, the report includes:

• Exposure Date
• Type of Event (Acquisition or Calibration)
• Operator
• Exposure Details:
  • kVp
  • mAs
  • mA
  • Exposure Time
• Patient Information:
  • Patient Name
  • Patient ID
  • Species
• Owner
• Exam
• Rejection Status
  • Reason for Rejection (if applicable)

Technique values (kVp, mAs, mA) can be entered manually using Manual Technique Entry or automatically populated using Generator Integration.

Note

If technique values are not entered manually or automatically, technique values (kVp, mAs, mA, and Exposure Time) will be zero.

The Radiation Safety Report is useful for monitoring radiation exposure levels for both patients and staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
